Flux: The Experimental Weave Lab exhibition 6th - 23rd September 2022

London contemporary weaving passementerie exhibition

For the last 6 months I have been co-curating a season of contemporary and innovative woven textile artist and designer residencies in the City of London. We have supported over 12 modern UK weavers to create and weave experimental, exploratory and modern artworks, designs and interventions that push the boundaries of what weaving is and how this craft is perceived.

Flux: The Experimental Weave Lab Exhibition is a culmination and a celebration of a six month woven textile season of residencies, talks, open lab days, research and outreach work. The works on show include live weaving, prototypes, sketchbooks, on going practice and finished artworks.

I will be showing a large collection of framed hand woven passementerie artworks, sketchbooks, experimental woven work and behind-the-scenes looks into my working process.

September exhibition opening dates - 12 to 6pm:

6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 20th, 21st, 23rd

Location: The Experimental Weave Lab, St. Olave’s Parish Hall, Mark Lane, London, EC3R 7LQ.
